A short note on measuring and Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is free. Yay baby.
It allows you to track numbers of visitors to your site along with a host (hundreds) of other useful data. You could spend a couple of hours every day looking at your analytics.
Please don’t you will go crazy.
But EVERY site should have analytics.
You can’t realistically judge how your site is doing without measurement. I get new clients coming to me and it is the first question I ask them.
“How many visitors a week does your site get?”
If they don’t know then they have zero data.
Saying “I think it is doing OK” is not a good answer.
Google Analytics can usually be setup and installed in half an hour.
Get measuring.
