Make it Rain

Most of my customers do not want hundreds of leads raining down on them. What they usually want is a steady, manageable set of leads that actually fits their marketplace and their capacity. In some cases, they do not want volume at all, just better quality and relevance. I rarely promise or commit to delivering hundreds of leads, because that is rarely what makes sense.

I look at the business and say, “Here is what the search volume on Google realistically looks like.” From there, I make a sensible, informed estimate. Nobody can give an exact figure with forensic precision, and anyone who claims they can is being optimistic at best. Based on proper research, I then suggest a specific number that feels achievable and grounded in reality.

What I focus on is making the email, WhatsApp, or phone start making a little noise. In most cases, that noise is not deafening, but it is meaningful. A modest number of real leads, coming from genuine search demand that is directly related to the business, usually beats a flood of enquiries that go nowhere.

My case study stories tend to look very similar, and that is not an accident.

The approach is simple. Connect, research, and work out what actually functions for you and your website, then turn that into clicks and calls. Is that a good thing? Absolutely. But it is not just about having a nice-looking site. One of the non-negotiables is trust. Clients need to trust that my research is solid, based on hard work, careful thinking, and tools that earn their keep rather than just looking impressive on a screen.
